Artist Statement

"These works are from an ongoing series of corporate food icons at the center of unrest and uneasiness. Food corporations are how the majority of Appalachians access food and if access to these goods is ever interrupted the stress on society will be frightening. These images imagine corporate food icons replacing the statues and monuments in the center of our towns when societies fabric is in upheaval. As of December 2020 there are 8 completed pieces in the series.”
